Last weekend, before the heat wave we took a short road trip.  We visited this park once before when our boys were little but it is a really cool spot.  We packed a lunch and drove to Dillard Mill State Park.  This park has everything we like,

maps for the map guy

an old cemetery,

a picnic area . . .

a nice trail,

a water feature

and of course, 

old stuff.  On the way home we stopped in this old store in Caledonia, MO. 

I didn't take the camera inside but it is just such a neat old store.  We bought a couple of Coca-colas in a bottle.  So good . . .

It was a great little trip, on a beautiful day!
