This week is a busy one!! Thursday is my Preserving the Past, 2 page Heritage layout class.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack!

I am home from CHA Las Vegas! What a great time we had! You will love all the great stuff we bought. Watch for new products from Daisy D's, Basic Grey, Making Memories, Junkitz, K and Company, so many wonderful papers and embellishments, we ordered some really cool stuff from 7 Gypsies. We found a brand new line called Crate paper (it's the new BG!) I will be adding some photos to Flickr tonight or tomorrow, stay tuned!!
I am still pretty tired but sooo excited!! See you all soon!

Getting ready to leave for . . .

LAS VEGAS!! We will be leaving on Saturday for a whirlwind trip to the Craft and Hobby Assn Convention. I have a few great classes to take and Cannot wait to see what the newest, hottest new thing in Paper crafting!

I met a very creative gal yesterday and she will be teaching a class for Mother's Day at FKS!Her name is Amy Rozeboom and you can view some of her tiny works of Art at her blog.

My classes this week

I have two classes upcoming this week. First on Thursday, January 19th @at 6::30 pm, This is a cute and unique project that will work well for a Valentine gift.


Next, a special workshop on Saturday, January 21st. This is the Heritage ABC quote book and it is definitely a favorite of mine. It uses a k**&Company flip book that can be free standing. The project itself is loaded with quotes and gorgeous papers from Daisy D’s, sign up soon as this will take some extra prep time. I probably won’t be able to take sign ups after Thursday!

Happy New Year's Eve

I cannot believe it is the last day of 2005!! I am setting some personal scrapbooking resolutions or at least goals for the New Year! The key word here is PERSONAL! I want to work on my own scrapbook pages and finish many dozens of unfinished projects. I think I'll probably sit down tomorrow and make a list of these projects and attach them to my bulletin board and draw a line through each completed project VERY SATISFYING!

Anyhow, the big news today is the Trash to Treasure sale at FKS!! Although a lot of the big stuff has been sold, we still have an awesome amount of paper and other cool stuff priced ridiculously low TEN FOR A DOLLAR! This isn't old crappy stuff! I had ladies yesterday buying hundreds of sheets of paper! Don't miss out!

Wow! Another celeb sighting!!

So I just got back from the big "M". I had a coupon and I like to pick up magazines that I can't buy at FKS. I grabbed a "Somerset Studio" . It's a beautiful issue as always and there on page 102 is a absolutely stunning fabric and paper collage.
Nancy Connelly is the artist and on page 108 she has a second project. It is very cool! Congratulations Nan! Your work is so wonderful!

January is right around the corner and I wanted to share my January classes with you!
Jan 5th
Preserving the Past, my monthly Heritage layout class is back, we will make a two page layout with K&Co papers and MM paints. Handout and extra kits available.
Jan 10th
Beautiful Christmas Memories, bright and colorful Daisy D papers. We will create a two page layout with space for all you favorite Christmas photos! We will also learn to make these adorable but huge photo corners. Who says Sue doesn't do bright colors!
Jan 19th
Love Coaster Mini Book, cute little mini book is perfect for your special valentine!
Jan 21st
ABC Heritage Quote Book Workshop, this is a very special project. It is a self standing flip book with 26+ pages that will be a beautiful heirloom for your family. It is loaded with quotes and beautiful vintage papers to adorn your family photos.
