. . . weekend get away to Lake of the Ozarks! It was beautiful, perfect weather, we hiked at Ha Ha Tonka, ate a fabulous restaurant Saturday night and shopped! Ahhh, spring is finally here!

29 Years and counting . . .
We celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary Monday . . . I can hardly believe how the years fly by sometimes! We had a nice dinner at PF Changs, one of my favorite restaurants. This weekend we are taking a quick road trip to the Lake of the Ozarks, the weather is supposed to be pretty and I am so looking forward to the drive!

Easter Greetings
Instead of the traditional Easter Ham we "traditionally" have steak at our house. Adam doesn't like ham and so we grill out steaks and all the fixins' instead.

Today's sharing . . .
. . . today was another busy, busy day at the store, new products galore, K and Company just amazing! So much new stuff I didn't even have a chance to see it all!
My little moment today was a young woman wearing a cute sweatshirt that said "Proud Mom of Triplets" of course I had to ask. She was a Proud Mom for sure, bringing out photos in a heartbeat. Three adorable 21 month old beings, two boys and a little girl. Just precious, there was another photo though, three little girls, as it turns out, her sister also had triplets six months after she had hers. Can you imagine those grandparents, in a matter of six months, two sets of triplets!! It just boggles the mind! Anyway, she was a sweet girl and it was her birthday, her hubby sent her out for a few hours on her own! Great gift for a busy Proud Mom of Triplets!!

I just thought of something . . .
So I'm reading Missy's Welcome message and this thought occurred to me. Every day that I work at For Keeps Sake I meet and work with very special people. I hear amazing stories from my customers and it reminds me how lucky I am to come in contact with scrapbookers every day. Sooo. . . with that in mind I am going to share some of the neat, cool little moments that I have the privilege to be a part of . . .
I had a young girl come in today, she's a regular customer probably in her mid 20's and while making a purchase she shares what she is working on. She is making a small album for her daughter, the pages don't have pictures but they have a lot journaling. Thoughts and hopes and dreams from her Mom. She is pouring her heart out onto the pages and the neat thing is that this is for a child that is yet to be born. She hasn't even been conceived yet! It was so important to her to do this because she didn't have a good relationship with her own Mother! This is why she scrapbooks!
Every now and then it's good to step back and remember just why we scrapbook in the first place (That's not an original thought, it's straight from Stacy Julian!). That's all for now! Sue

Aha! I think I get the Picture!!
I have been working on my class at Big Picture!! Library of Memories has been challenging to say the least and at times I have been drowning in photos and sortingn and albums and labels. Last night I started on my photo triage assignment. I had to pull 100 photos and sort them into 1 of 4 categories. It took probably 3 hours! Anyway to make a long story short . . . i got up this am and created the following layout!!
This is a photo of my Mom and my niece the night of her High School graduation . . . as you all know they live in North Carolina a thousand miles from here! I was lucky enough to be able to go! I to0k this photo just before leaving the house. Everyone was so proud of Melissa but this photo made me remember how proud I was of my Mom. It had only been a year since her brain surgery and she looked so great! She looked pretty and seemed more like herself. Anyway if you are taking this class you will understand my AHA! moment!!
